These SAFE Project resources provide quick, accessible trainings that teach individuals how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose, including how to administer naloxone. Available in both short (5-minute) and more in-depth (30-minute) formats and in multiple languages, they are designed to equip anyone with the knowledge and confidence to take lifesaving action.

Learning About Opioid Overdose

Overdoses involving opioids continue to rise, with over 47,000 fatal opioid overdoses in 2017. Non-fatal overdoses are several times more common than fatal opioid overdoses.
